Dr. Noah B. Edvalson

Noah Edvalson, Chiropractor and Acupuncturist Fellow

Meet Boise Chiropractor

Noah Edvalson, DC, FIAMA

Dr. Noah Edvalson grew up right across the Idaho border from Boise in LaGrande, OR. He made frequent trips to Boise as a child to take advantage of the many activities Boise has to offer, and he is very excited to now be living in the Boise area.

Dr. Edvalson has always been interested in health care. As a child he would peruse the pages of a pathology book his parents had, mostly intrigued by the pictures. The complexity of the human body and its natural ability to heal itself was always inspiring to Noah, so he was naturally drawn to the natural health care field.

When he became sick or injured, his mother would first take him to a Naturopath or a Chiropractor, believing that natural and conservative remedies should be the first option.

This philosophy always stuck with Noah; so after completing his bachelor's degree at Brigham Young University, he embarked on a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, OR. He graduated from WSCC in 2009 as the class Valedictorian, and was voted by his peers as the WSCC 2009 Outstanding Graduate.

He founded Boise Integrated Chiropractic in 2009, and more recently started the Idaho Center for Integrative Medicine.

Dr. Edvalson strongly believes in holistic and integrative health care - meaning he looks at the physiology of the entire body to try and solve your health care issues. Many doctors default to the same treatment for every condition that presents to them, be it surgery, drugs, diet, supplements, chiropractic adjustments, or physiotherapy - "if all you have is a hammer...everything looks like a nail."

In order to provide his patients with a more complete form of preventive and conservative health care, Dr. Edvalson is very busy with continuing education. He has completed a Fellowship program with the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture and is currently a Certified Acupuncturist in the state of Idaho. Dr. Noah loves to learn, and he strives to approach the body as a whole interconnected unit, rather than just focusing on your joints alone.

He has attended many seminars on nutrition, functional medicine, neurotransmitter issues, and hormone imbalances. In addition, he recently became one of Idaho's only Certified Chiropractic Sports Physicians (CCSP). Dr. Noah utilizes these tools to evaluate your case. Many patients ask, "can Chiropractic help with XYZ?" Our response is always, "maybe, but a ChiropracTOR with the right training and enough tools can very likely help with most non-critical conditions."

If you have been to a lot of doctors seeking relief from your difficult case, please give us a call for a Free Health Analysis to see if we can provide any additional help. We can provide a drug and surgery-free approach to many chronic, autoimmune, and degenerative conditions.

Doc Noah will look at your past lab reports and may order some additional labs such as a Complete Blood Count, a complete thyroid panel, a female or male hormone panel, adrenal panels, gut function panels, and more. In addition, we will have you fill out an extensive patient questionnaire about the symptoms you are suffering from. After a thorough exam, we will put all of these pieces of the puzzle together to come up with an appropriate treatment plan. If we think your case is better handled by an allopathic physician (MD or DO), then we will gladly refer you out for such treatment. Your health is our highest priority.

In his spare time, Noah loves camping, hiking, mountain biking, and dirt biking with family and friends.  He also enjoys organic gardening, fermentation, and cooking healthy dishes.
