Bill Maher discusses many of the weaknesses that currently plague our healthcare system (warning - he does not hold back in his frustration, so this clip is rated PG-13). Notice the blame is not solely on the powerful Pharmaceutical companies, but we as consumers need to accept responsibility for the rising costs as a result of our poor lifestyle choices. In addition, doctors should be making a better effort at recommending these lifestyle changes BEFORE turning to drugs and surgery.
